Video: ASYLUM Chalk Art from the Long Beach Comic Con

Back in November I made a chalk mural at the Long Beach Comic Con for the comic book Asylum from the mind of John Carpenter (yes, THAT John Carpenter). It is a wonderful horror/supernatural comic produced by Storm King Productions and with the story by Thomas Ian Griffith and Sandy King. The book features incredible art by Leonardo Manco, and that is what I recreated in a gigantic scale over the show weekend.

Above is the time lapse video showing the entire drawing and coloring process of the large scale chalk art from sketching at home, to the complete coloring at the show. It was an honor to create this mural, and I REALLY hope to go back to Long Beach in 2015. Watch! Enjoy! And let me know what you think in the comments below.
